One thing that’s always booming in the oilfield world is babies. Do you feel that way, too? Right now we know a few expectant oilfield families (ourselves included), and a few oilfield couples who just welcomed new little ones into the world — and there’s nothing better than gifting incredibly cute, incredibly adorable, incredibly awesome gifts for babies. Registries are all well and good, but it’s always nice to receive something truly special as well.
In the spirit of the bundle in my belly, and the never-ending oilfield baby boom, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite baby gifts!
- The Neon Organic Family Items from Hello Merch. Grown Up and Kid t-shirts, plus a onesie for Baby, in a rad selection of bright hues. I’m already planning dragging the husband into a casual family photo in these tees.
- Another fabulous gift is a keepsake 3D puzzle by Berkshire Bowls. These puzzles are positively gorgeous, and are of such high quality, handcrafted from wood. So many cute options, and simple enough to blend in with any nursery or playroom decor. Really, the cutest!
- Have you heard of quark baby? One of my favorite new-to-me Etsy shops. Soft, high quality geek wear. This Love to Infinity onesie is perfect for Valentine’s Day! Not to mention Lindsey, owner/creator, is the sweetest.
- Wren & Rumor I found via Pinterest. I’m in love with everything in their shop, but especially the blankets. Jill also makes pillows and burp cloths. One stop for pretty nursery pieces? Yes. This Waves Swaddle Blanket is on my wish list for our baby boy.
- Lastly, Herbivore Botanicals. I’m throwing in a gift for mom! This line is 100% plant and mineral based, and is one of the best quality skincare lines out there. Plus, it’s gentle enough for a new mother’s sensitive postpartum, hormonal skin. I love that their product is made by a guy and a gal. It may be a bit pricey, but it’s so wonderful that I promise a gift from this line will be appreciated! I also like to gift from Herbivore Botanicals as a thank-you. Extra points for the packaging and pretty colors, too.
